Boronia Travel Welcomes Benjamin Hayes

As Boronia Travel Centre prepares for the Gallipoli Centenary and a host of Western Front Commemorations between 2014 – 2018, we have enlisted the expert knowledge and services of Ben, who comes with 21 years’ experience in the travel industry, from working with airlines, retail travel, wholesalers and travel technology throughout Melbourne, Sydney and even a stint up in Mount Hagen, Papua New Guinea. He’s returned to the big smoke after living it up in Corowa on the Murray River for the last 12 years managing agencies in Yarrawonga and Albury as well as finding time to run his own travel business, ‘Amongst the Vines’, which specialises in Food and Wine Tours. (A perfect fit for the team really). If you need expert travel advice on Europe and North America, the Ben has travelled to these continents extensively over the years and is only too happy to assist with your travel arrangements. Portugal, in particular, Oporto and Douro Valley are his favourite places. The people are absolutely lovely, with wonderful scenery, great value and excellent wines of course. The vintage ports have some of the best wines in the world while Douro Valley is visually one of the most spectacular wine regions anywhere. Ben will be joining us in Turkey this year with the Australian War Memorial ANZAC Day Tour and will also be going to Gallipoli in 2015 for the 100th Anniversary of the ANZAC Day Landing. If you have any questions about the battlefield tours you can contact Ben directly at ben@boroniatravel.com.au or call 1800 035 350 to have a chat.
